The Holy Quran 39:36 — Surah Az-Zumar

Arabic text

أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُۥ ۖ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ

Translation

Is Allaah not Sufficient (as Protector) for His bondsman (Rasulullaah ﷺ)? (Failing to realise that Allaah was always there to protect Rasulullaah ﷺ) They (the Mushrikeen) threaten you (O Rasulullaah ﷺ) with (harm from) those (gods whom they worship) besides Him (Allaah). There can be no guide for the one whom Allaah sends astray.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أليس الله بكاف عبده محمدًا وعيد المشركين وكيدهم من أن ينالوه بسوء؟ بلى إنه سيكفيه في أمر دينه ودنياه، ويدفع عنه مَن أراده بسوء، ويخوِّفونك -أيها الرسول- بآلهتهم التي زعموا أنها ستؤذيك. ومن يخذله الله فيضله عن طريق الحق، فما له مِن هاد يهديه إليه.
