The Holy Quran 38:43 — Surah Sad

Arabic text

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ

Translation

(After curing him of the disease,) We gifted him with his family and as many of them in addition (twice as many), as a mercy from Us and a reminder for people of intelligence (to remind them that Allaah rewards the patient ones and restores their losses).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فكشفنا عنه ضره وأكرمناه ووهبنا له أهله من زوجة وولد، وزدناه مثلهم بنين وحفدة، كل ذلك رحمة منَّا به وإكرامًا له على صبره، وعبرة وذكرى لأصحاب العقول السليمة؛ ليعلموا أن عاقبة الصبر الفرج وكشف الضر.
