The Holy Quran 38:10 — Surah Sad

Arabic text

أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَـٰبِ

Translation

Or does the kingdom of the heavens, the earth, and all between these belong to them (giving them the right to object to Allaah's appointment of Ambiyaa عليهم الصلاة والسلام)? In that case, they should (erect and) climb ladders (leading to the heavens). (The fact that this is impossible makes it clear that they have no control over the heavens. It is therefore unbecoming of them to object to the appointment of the Ambiyaa عليهم الصلاة والسلام)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أم لهؤلاء المشركين مُلْك السموات والأرض وما بينهما، فيُعْطوا ويَمْنعوا؟ فليأخذوا بالأسباب الموصلة لهم إلى السماء، حتى يحكموا بما يريدون من عطاء ومنع.
