The Holy Quran 34:8 — Surah Saba

Arabic text

أَفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةٌۢ ۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَـٰلِ ٱلْبَعِيدِ

Translation

"Does he invent lies about Allaah, or is he insane?" Rather, (it is) those who do not believe in the Aakhirah (who invent lies about Allaah and are insane and who) are (soon to suffer) in punishment and (are lost in) a distant deviation (are so misguided that they cannot realise the truth).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

هذا الرجل أختلق على الله كذبًا أم به جنون، فهو يتكلم بما لا يدري؟ ليس الأمر كما قال الكفار، بل محمد أصدق الصادقين. والذين لا يصدقون بالبعث ولا يعملون من أجله في العذاب الدائم في الآخرة، والضلال البعيد عن الصواب في الدنيا.
