The Holy Quran 33:60 — Surah Al-Ahzab

Arabic text

۞ لَّئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَٱلْمُرْجِفُونَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَآ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

Translation

If the hypocrites, those with a disease (doubts about Islaam) in their hearts and those who spread rumours in Madinah do not desist (from hurting the Muslims and causing problems among them), We will definitely grant you (O Rasulullaah) authority over them (the authority to expel them from Madinah), after which they will hardly be able to live with you there (in Madinah) (When they do not refrain from their evil activities).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

لئن لم يكفَّ الذين يضمرون الكفر ويظهرون الإيمان والذين في قلوبهم شك وريبة، والذين ينشرون الأخبار الكاذبة في مدينة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم عن قبائحهم وشرورهم، لنسلِّطنَّك عليهم، ثم لا يسكنون معك فيها إلا زمنًا قليلا.
