The Holy Quran 33:39 — Surah Al-Ahzab

Arabic text

ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَـٰلَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُۥ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًا

Translation

(The Ambiyaa عليهم الصلاة والسلام were) Those who propagate Allaah's messages, who fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allaah. (When fulfilling Allaah's commands, they had no concern for the criticism of people.) Allaah suffices as One who takes reckoning. (It is only to Him that people have to answer on the Day of Qiyaamah and not to anyone else.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ثم ذكر سبحانه الأنبياء الماضين وأثنى عليهم بأنهم: الذين يُبَلِّغون رسالاتِ الله إلى الناس، ويخافون الله وحده، ولا يخافون أحدًا سواه. وكفى بالله محاسبًا عباده على جميع أعمالهم ومراقبًا لها.
