The Holy Quran 32:4 — Surah As-Sajdah

Arabic text

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Translation

It is Allaah Who created the heavens, the earth and whatever is between the twain six days and then turned His attention to the Throne. Besides Him, you have no Protecting Friend, nor any intercessor. (Despite knowing all of this,) Will you (still) not take heed (think)?

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الله الذي خلق السموات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام لحكمة يعلمها، وهو قادر أن يخلقها بكلمة «كن» فتكون، ثم استوى سبحانه وتعالى -أي علا وارتفع- على عرشه استواء يليق بجلاله، لا يكيَّف، ولا يشبَّه باستواء المخلوقين.
