The Holy Quran 32:18 — Surah As-Sajdah

Arabic text

أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا ۚ لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ

Translation

Can he who has Imaan be like him who is a sinner (a Kaafir)? They can never be the same (because the Mu'min will enjoy eternal pleasure in Jannah while the Kaafir will suffer eternal punishment in Jahannam).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أفمن كان مطيعًا لله ورسوله مصدقًا بوعده ووعيده، مثل من كفر بالله ورسله وكذب باليوم الآخر؟ لا يستوون عند الله.
