The Holy Quran 30:13 — Surah Ar-Rum

Arabic text

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَآئِهِمْ شُفَعَـٰٓؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ كَـٰفِرِينَ

Translation

None of their partners (their gods whom they ascribed as partners to Allaah) will be intercessors (are to plead) for them, and (to save themselves) they will (even) reject (the fact that they ever worshipped) their partners.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولم يكن للمشركين في ذلك اليوم من آلهتهم التي كانوا يعبدونها من دون الله شفعاء، بل إنها تتبرأ منهم، ويتبرؤون منها. فالشفاعة لله وحده، ولا تُطلَب من غيره.
