The Holy Quran 2:281 — Surah Al-Baqarah

Arabic text

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

Translation

Fear the day (of Qiyaamah) when you (all) shall be returned to Allaah (for reckoning), then every soul will be repaid (each one should worry about one's own actions) in full and they shall not be oppressed (neither will one be deprived of any reward that one deserves nor will one be punished for any sin that one did not commit).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

واحذروا -أيها الناس- يومًا ترجعون فيه إلى الله، وهو يوم القيامة، حيث تعرضون على الله ليحاسبكم، فيجازي كل واحد منكم بما عمل من خير أو شر دون أن يناله ظلم. وفي الآية إشارة إلى أن اجتناب ما حرم الله من المكاسب الربوية، تكميل للإيمان وحقوقه من إقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وعمل الصالحات.
