The Holy Quran 2:18 — Surah Al-Baqarah

Arabic text

صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ

Translation

Deaf (unwilling to hear the truth), dumb (unable to say anything good) and blind (unable to see the straight path), they will never return (to the straight path).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

هم صُمٌّ عن سماع الحق سماع تدبر، بُكْم عن النطق به، عُمْي عن إبصار نور الهداية; لذلك لا يستطيعون الرجوع إلى الإيمان الذي تركوه، واستعاضوا عنه بالضلال.
