The Holy Quran 2:152 — Surah Al-Baqarah

Arabic text

فَٱذْكُرُونِىٓ أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لِى وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ

Translation

So think of Me (by performing salaah, making Dhikr, abiding by the Qur'aan and in all other matters) and I will think of you (by rewarding you and fulfilling your needs and blessing you constantly). Be grateful to Me (by obeying Me) and do not be ungrateful (by disobeying Me).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أمر تعالى المؤمنين بذكره، ووعد عليه أفضل الجزاء، وهو الثناء في الملأ الأعلى على مَنْ ذكره، وخصوني -أيها المؤمنون- بالشكر قولا وعملا ولا تجحدوا نعمي عليكم.
