The Holy Quran 2:15 — Surah Al-Baqarah

Arabic text

ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Translation

It is Allaah who mocks them (delays their punishment, thereby making them believe that they will not be punished) and gives them rope (delays their punishment) in their disobedience (in their kufr) as they wander blindly (in confusion).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الله يستهزئ بهم ويُمهلهم; ليزدادوا ضلالا وحَيْرة وترددًا، ويجازيهم على استهزائهم بالمؤمنين.
