The Holy Quran 29:62 — Surah Al-'Ankabut

Arabic text

ٱللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

Translation

Allaah increases (extends, spreads) sustenance for whoever He wills of His bondsmen (servants) and reduces (it for whoever he wills). Verily Allaah has knowledge of all things (He knows exactly why some deserve more and others less).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الله سبحانه وتعالى يوسع الرزق لمن يشاء من خلقه، ويضيق على آخرين منهم; لعلمه بما يصلح عباده، إن الله بكل شيء من أحوالكم وأموركم عليم، لا يخفى عليه شيء.
