The Holy Quran 29:13 — Surah Al-'Ankabut

Arabic text

وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖ وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

Translation

(What will happen is that) They will certainly carry their own burdens (of sin) in addition to those of others (whom they caused to sin, without the actual sinners being absolved of punishment). And on the Day of Qiyamaah they will definitely be questioned about what they fabricated (about the partners they attributed to Allaah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وليحملَنَّ هؤلاء المشركون أوزار أنفسهم وآثامها، وأوزار مَن أضلوا وصدُّوا عن سبيل الله مع أوزارهم، دون أن ينقص من أوزار تابعيهم شيء، وليُسألُنَّ يوم القيامة عما كانوا يختلقونه من الأكاذيب.
