The Holy Quran 28:72 — Surah Al-Qasas

Arabic text

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِلَيْلٍ تَسْكُنُونَ فِيهِ ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

Translation

Say, "Tell me. If Allaah makes the day perpetual (unending) for you until the Day of Qiyaamah, which Ilaah besides Him can bring night to you, in which you may find peace? (rest) Can you not see (understand that you are wrong to worship other gods when Allaah is the Most Powerful)?"

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قل لهم: أخبروني إن جعل الله عليكم النهار دائمًا إلى يوم القيامة، مَن إله غير الله يأتيكم بليل تستقرون وتهدؤون فيه؟ أفلا ترون بأبصاركم اختلاف الليل والنهار؟
