The Holy Quran 27:90 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Translation

(On the other hand) Whoever brings (presents) a sin (on the Day of Qiyaamah) will fall (headlong) on their faces in the Fire (of Jahannam). (They will then be told), "You are recompensed (punished) only for what (kufr and sin) you had carried out (in the world. You therefore deserve what you are receiving and are not being oppressed in the least)."

ومن جاء بالشرك والأعمال السيئة المنكرة، فجزاؤهم أن يكبَّهم الله على وجوههم في النار يوم القيامة، ويقال لهم توبيخًا: هل تجزون إلا ما كنتم تعملون في الدنيا؟
