The Holy Quran 27:86 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Translation

Do they not see that We have made the night so that they may rest (and have peace) in it and the day (so that they are able) to see? There are certainly Aayaat (showing Allaah's great power) in this for those who have Imaan.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ألم ير هؤلاء المكذبون بآياتنا أنا جعلنا الليل يستقرُّون فيه وينامون، والنهار يبصرون فيه للسعي في معاشهم؟ إن في تصريفهما لَدلالة لقوم يؤمنون بكمال قدرة الله ووحدانيَّته وعظيم نعمه.
