The Holy Quran 27:7 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ

Translation

(Remember the time) When Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام said to his family (his wife, after they lost their way en route to Egypt), "I notice a fire. I shall shortly bring you some news (directions from the people at the fire) or a burning stake so that you may warm yourselves."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

اذكر قصة موسى حين قال لأهله في مسيره من «مدين» إلى «مصر» : إني أبصَرْتُ نارًا سآتيكم منها بخبر يدلنا على الطريق، أو آتيكم بشعلة نار; كي تستدفئوا بها من البرد.
