The Holy Quran 27:58 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

Translation

We rained a shower (of stones) on them. Evil indeed was the shower of those who were (not taken by surprise, but were) warned (about the pending punishment).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وأمطرنا عليهم من السماء حجارة مِن طين مهلكة، فقَبُحَ مطر المنذَرين، الذين قامت عليهم الحجة.
