The Holy Quran 27:4 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Translation

As for those who do not believe in the Aakhirah, We have beautified their (evil) acts for them, so they wander blindly (committing more evil without realising that they are accountable and will soon be taken to task for the evil they do).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن الذين لا يُصَدِّقون بالدار الآخرة، ولا يعملون لها حسَّنَّا لهم أعمالهم السيئة، فرأوها حسنة، فهم يترددون فيها متحيِّرين. أولئك الذين لهم العذاب السيِّئ في الدنيا قتلا وأَسْرًا وذُلا وهزيمةً، وهم في الآخرة أشد الناس خسرانًا.
