The Holy Quran 27:31 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ

Translation

"(It says further,) 'Do not be arrogant against me (by refusing to come) and come to me in submission (obedience)." (Sulaymaan عليه الصلاة والسلام summoned them so that he could convey to them the message of Towheed.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ثم بيَّنت ما فيه فقالت: إنه من سليمان، وإنه مفتتح بـ "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم" ألا تتكبروا ولا تتعاظموا عما دعوتكم إليه، وأقْبِلوا إليَّ منقادين لله بالوحدانية والطاعة مسلمين له.
