The Holy Quran 26:92 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ

Translation

They (the Mushrikeen) will be told, “Where are those (gods) whom you worshipped..."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وقيل لهم توبيخًا: أين آلهتكم التي كنتم تعبدونها مِن دون الله، وتزعمون أنها تشفع لكم اليوم؟ هل ينصرونكم، فيدفعون العذاب عنكم، أو ينتصرون بدفع العذاب عن أنفسهم؟ لا شيء من ذلك.
