The Holy Quran 26:67 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Translation

There is certainly a great Aayah in this (incident for people of all times, which teaches people that failure to accept Imaan leads to destruction). However, (despite all of this) most of them do not have Imaan.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن في ذلك الذي حدث لَعبرة عجيبة دالة على قدرة الله، وما صار أكثر أتباع فرعون مؤمنين مع هذه العلامة الباهرة.
