The Holy Quran 26:29 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذْتَ إِلَـٰهًا غَيْرِى لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ

Translation

(Addressing Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام) He (Firoun) said, "If you take another as an Ilaah besides myself, I shall definitely include you among the prisoners (of my dungeons where you will suffer terribly)!"

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال فرعون لموسى مهددًا له: لئن اتخذت إلهًا غيري لأسجننك مع مَن سجنت.
