The Holy Quran 26:174 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Translation

There is certainly a great Aayah in this. However, most of them do not have Imaan (even after hearing these true events).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن في ذلك العقاب الذي نزل بقوم لوط لَعبرة وموعظة، يتعظ بها المكذبون. وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين.
