The Holy Quran 26:116 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ

Translation

They said, "O Nooh! If you do not desist (from preaching to us), you will certainly be of those who are stoned (to death)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

عدل قوم نوح عن المحاورة إلى التهديد، فقالوا له: لئن لم ترجع -يا نوح- عن دعوتك لتكوننَّ مِنَ المقتولين رميًا بالحجارة.
