The Holy Quran 25:72 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًا

Translation

And (Ar Rahmaan's bondsmen are) those who do not engage in acts of deceit (do not take false oaths and give false evidence) and, when they pass by frivolous (useless) acts, they pass by gracefully (without participating and without unnecessarily arguing with the participants).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

والذين لا يشهدون بالكذب ولا يحضرون مجالسه، وإذا مروا بأهل الباطل واللغو من غير قصد مرُّوا معرضين منكرين يتنزهون عنه، ولا يرضونه لغيرهم.
