The Holy Quran 25:36 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

فَقُلْنَا ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا

Translation

We then said, "The two of you should go (and preach Towheed) to the nation that rejects Our Aayaat (Fir'oun's nation)." (So the two brothers preached Towheed to Fir'oun and his people but they rejected the message.) Thereafter We completely annihilated (destroyed) the nation (of Firoun when We drowned them in the Red Sea).
