The Holy Quran 25:22 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا

Translation

There shall be no good news (of Jannah) for the criminals (Kuffaar) on that day (of Qiyaamah) when they see the angels (of punishment), and they will shout, "Stay far away!" (This was exactly what they used to tell the Ambiyaa in the world. However, on the Day of Qiyaamah, they will say these words to protect themselves from punishment.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يوم يرون الملائكة عند الاحتضار، وفي القبر، ويوم القيامة، على غير الصورة التي اقترحوها لا لتبشرهم بالجنة، ولكن لتقول لهم: جعل الله الجنة مكانًا محرمًا عليكم.
