The Holy Quran 24:1 — Surah An-Nur

Arabic text

سُورَةٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهَا وَفَرَضْنَـٰهَا وَأَنزَلْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَـٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَـٰتٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

Translation

This is a Surah that We have revealed, that We have ordained (made the laws contained in them obligatory), and in which We have revealed clear Aayaat so that you may (seriously) take heed.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

هذه سورة عظيمة من القرآن أنزلناها، وأوجبنا العمل بأحكامها، وأنزلنا فيها دلالات واضحات؛ لتتذكروا -أيها المؤمنون- بهذه الآيات البينات، وتعملوا بها.
