The Holy Quran 23:77 — Surah Al-Mu'minun

Arabic text

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ

Translation

(They will therefore not accept Imaan) Until the time comes when (either in this world or in the Aakhirah) We shall open for them a door of severe punishment and they will be left totally bewildered (and without hope, but it will then be too late to make amends).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

حتى إذا فتحنا عليهم بابًا من العذاب الشديد في الآخرة، إذا هم فيه آيسون من كل خير، متحيرون لا يدرون ما يصنعون.
