The Holy Quran 23:75 — Surah Al-Mu'minun

Arabic text

۞ وَلَوْ رَحِمْنَـٰهُمْ وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرٍّ لَّلَجُّوا۟ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Translation

(Let alone rejecting the Aayaat of Allaah, these people are so lost that they even fail to mend their ways when adversities strike. Furthermore,) If We have mercy on them and remove their (affliction) adversities, (instead of being grateful to Allaah and believing in Him,) they will blindly plunge back into their rebellion (kufr).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولو رحمناهم وكشفنا عنهم ما بهم مِن قحط وجوع لَتمادوا في الكفر والعناد، يتحيَّرون ويتخبطون.
