The Holy Quran 23:42 — Surah Al-Mu'minun

ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قُرُونًا ءَاخَرِينَ

Translation

We then created numerous (other) nations after them (such as the people of Madyan, the people of Loot عليه الصلاة والسلام, etc).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ثم أنشأنا من بعد هؤلاء المكذبين أممًا وخلائق آخرين كأقوام: لوط وشعيب وأيوب ويونس صلوات الله وسلامه عليهم أجمعين.
