The Holy Quran 23:115 — Surah Al-Mu'minun

Arabic text

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ

Translation

"(While living in the world,) Did you think that We had created you in vain (for no purpose) and that you would not return to Us (to answer for what you did in the world)?"

أفحسبتم -أيها الخلق- أنما خلقناكم مهملين، لا أمر ولا نهي ولا ثواب ولا عقاب، وأنكم إلينا لا ترجعون في الآخرة للحساب والجزاء؟
