The Holy Quran 23:109 — Surah Al-Mu'minun

Arabic text

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِى يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَٱرْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

Translation

"(Do you not remember that) There was a party of My bondsmen (the Mu'mineen) who used to say, 'O our Rabb! We have Imaan, so forgive us and have mercy on us. Indeed You are the Best of those who show mercy."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إنه كان فريق من عبادي -وهم المؤمنون- يَدْعون: ربنا آمنا فاستر ذنوبنا، وارحمنا، وأنت خير الراحمين.
