The Holy Quran 22:62 — Surah Al-Hajj

Arabic text

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ هُوَ ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

Translation

This (help) is (not hard to believe) because only Allaah is True (the True Ilaah) and all that they (the Kuffaar) worship besides Him are false (Allaah will therefore certainly help those who recognise His Divinity). And (this help will surely come because) Allaah is certainly The Highest, The Greatest (He can do as He pleases).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ذلك بأن الله هو الإله الحق الذي لا تنبغي العبادة إلا له، وأن ما يعبده المشركون من دونه من الأصنام والأنداد هو الباطل الذي لا ينفع ولا يضرُّ، وأن الله هو العليُّ على خلقه ذاتًا وقدرًا وقهرًا، المتعالي عن الأشباه والأنداد، الكبير في ذاته وأسمائه فهو أكبر من كلِّ شيء.
