The Holy Quran 22:13 — Surah Al-Hajj

Arabic text

يَدْعُوا۟ لَمَن ضَرُّهُۥٓ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِۦ ۚ لَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْعَشِيرُ

Translation

He prays to that, the harms of which are nearer at hand than the benefits. (His gods are) A terrible (evil) ally and a terrible (sinful) companion indeed (because they lead him to Jahannam).
