The Holy Quran 21:70 — Surah Al-Anbya

Arabic text

وَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ

Translation

While they (the Kuffaar) intended to plot (evil) against (to harm) Ibraheem عليه الصلاة والسلام, We made them the worst losers (because he remained unharmed, while they did not achieve their objective and will suffer the consequences in the Aakhirah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وأراد القوم بإبراهيم الهلاك فأبطل الله كيدهم، وجعلهم المغلوبين الأسفلين.
