The Holy Quran 21:59 — Surah Al-Anbya

Arabic text

قَالُوا۟ مَن فَعَلَ هَـٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Translation

(After returning to the town and seeing their idols destroyed,) They (the people) exclaimed, "Who has done this to our gods? He is certainly from the wrong-doers!" (evil doers)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ورجع القوم، ورأوا أصنامهم محطمة مهانة، فسأل بعضهم بعضًا: مَن فعل هذا بآلهتنا؟ إنه لظالم في اجترائه على الآلهة المستحقة للتعظيم والتوقير.
