The Holy Quran 21:56 — Surah Al-Anbya

Arabic text

قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمْ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا۠ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

Translation

He said, "Rather (than worship these idols, you should understand that) your Rabb is the Rabb of the heavens and the earth, Who has created (originated) you. (It is He Whom you should worship.) I am of those who bear witness (confirm) to this."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال لهم إبراهيم عليه الصلاة والسلام: بل ربكم الذي أدعوكم إلى عبادته هو رب السموات والأرض الذي خلقهنَّ، وأنا من الشاهدين على ذلك.
