The Holy Quran 21:53 — Surah Al-Anbya
Arabic text
قَالُوا۟ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا لَهَا عَـٰبِدِينَ
Translation
They replied, "We (worship them because we) found our forefathers worshipping (serving) them."
Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر
قالوا: وجدنا آباءنا عابدين لها، ونحن نعبدها اقتداء بهم.
