The Holy Quran 19:87 — Surah Maryam

Arabic text

لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَهْدًا

Translation

Only those who receive permission (power) from Ar Rahmaan will have the ability to intercede (on behalf of others).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

لا يملك هؤلاء الكفار الشفاعة لأحد، إنما يملكها مَنِ اتخذ عند الرحمن عهدًا بذلك، وهم المؤمنون بالله ورسله.
