The Holy Quran 19:79 — Surah Maryam

Arabic text

كَلَّا ۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ مَدًّا

Translation

Never! We shall shortly record what he says and continue (constantly) to intensify the punishment for him (in the Aakhirah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ليس الأمر كما يزعم ذلك الكافر، فلا علم له ولا عهد عنده، سنكتب ما يقول مِن كذب وافتراء على الله، ونزيده في الآخرة من أنواع العقوبات، كما ازداد من الغيِّ والضلال.
