The Holy Quran 19:77 — Surah Maryam

Arabic text

أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا

Translation

Have you seen him who rejects Our Aayaat and says, "I shall certainly be granted (abundant) wealth and children (in the Aakhirah just as I have them in this world)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أعَلِمْت - أيها الرسول - وعجبت من هذا الكافر «العاص بن وائل» وأمثاله؟ إذ كفر بآيات الله وكذَّب بها وقال: لأعطينَّ في الآخرة أموالا وأولادًا.
