The Holy Quran 18:70 — Surah Al-Kahf

Arabic text

قَالَ فَإِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَنِى فَلَا تَسْـَٔلْنِى عَن شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا

Translation

He (Khidr) said, "If you must follow me, then do not ask me about anything until I make mention of it myself (you must wait for my explanation)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فوافق الخَضِر وقال له: فإنْ صاحَبتني فلا تسألني عن شيء تنكره، حتى أبيِّن لك من أمره ما خفي عليك دون سؤال منك.
