The Holy Quran 18:54 — Surah Al-Kahf

Arabic text

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لِلنَّاسِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَكْثَرَ شَىْءٍ جَدَلًا

Translation

We have undoubtedly explained all types of examples in the Qur'aan for (the benefit of) people (so that he may understand things better). (However, despite the detailed explanation, the Kuffaar refuse to accept because) Man has always been the worst disputant (he quarrels more than Allaah's other creation).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد وضَّحنا ونوَّعنا في هذا القرآن للناس أنواعًا كثيرة من الأمثال؛ ليتعظوا بها ويؤمنوا. وكان الإنسان أكثر المخلوقات خصومة وجدلا.
