The Holy Quran 18:13 — Surah Al-Kahf

Arabic text

نَّحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ نَبَأَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ فِتْيَةٌ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ وَزِدْنَـٰهُمْ هُدًى

Translation

We narrate to you their story in perfect truth. They were a few youths who believed in their Rabb (during a time when others worshipped idols) and We increased them in guidance (strengthened their Imaan and understanding).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

نحن نقصُّ عليك -أيها الرسول- خبرهم بالصدق. إن أصحاب الكهف شُبَّان صدَّقوا ربهم وامتثلوا أمره، وزِدْناهم هدى وثباتًا على الحق.
