The Holy Quran 16:81 — Surah An-Nahl

Arabic text

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَـٰلًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَـٰنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلْحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ

Translation

(Further enumerating the many favours He has blessed man with, Allaah says,) Of the (many) things that Allaah has created, He has (also) made those things that provide shade (such as trees, rocks, mountains). He has also made for you places of safety in the mountains (caves, caverns) and made coats for you that protect you from the heat and coats (of armour) that protect you in battle (Allaah made the raw materials necessary for these things and it was He who inspired man to make them). In this manner (as He has blessed you with all these favours) does He complete (perfect) His bounty (kindness) on you (in this world) so that you may submit (to Him and fulfil all His commands).

والله جعل لكم ما تستظلُّون به من الأشجار وغيرها، وجعل لكم في الجبال من المغارات والكهوف أماكن تلجؤون إليها عند الحاجة، وجعل لكم ثيابًا من القطن والصوف وغيرهما، تحفظكم من الحر والبرد، وجعل لكم من الحديد ما يردُّ عنكم الطعن والأذى في حروبكم، كما أنعم الله عليكم بهذه النعم يتمُّ نعمته عليكم ببيان الدين الحق; لتستسلموا لأمر الله وحده، ولا تشركوا به شيئًا في…
