The Holy Quran 16:60 — Surah An-Nahl

Arabic text

لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مَثَلُ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۖ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَثَلُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

Translation

Evil is the condition (the qualities) of those (Mushrikeen) who are not convinced of the Aakhirah (because they dislike daughters, whom the entire society needs), while Allaah's are the most sublime attributes (which none can match) and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

للذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة ولا يعملون لها، الصفة القبيحة من العجز والحاجة والجهل والكفر، ولله الصفات العليا من الكمال والاستغناء عن خلقه، وهو العزيز في ملكه، الحكيم في تدبيره.
